Challenge Team Abstract
We are basically trying to show the different techniques of repopulation of Endangered animals in the local area. Our approuch is to create a simulation which is fun and interesting; in doing so it will be a learning experience and insight to the seriousness of endangered animals in the local area. What you will have to do is build certain types of preserves using the listed techniques for the local animals and repopulate the habitat which they live. You have to decide which preserve would be best for each animal. You would have to go out and capture each animal and bring them to a specific preserve. Once the animal reaches the required amount you return it to its orignal habitat. You also will have to check up on the animal and make sure it has a steady population. If not maintained, you will have to build no hunting zones, you will have to build a habitat which will meat the animals needs, if both these fail you will start the process over again. After players have repopulated the designated area with the required amount neccecary to maintain a healthy population you will have suceeded in your task to repopulate the species to a status of un-endangerment, thus winning the game. Upon winning the game you will be aware of the seriousness of the problem and will at the same time have a good time. We will also reach younger students and educate them about the seriousness of the issue. Team Members Sponsoring Teacher Project Advisor(s) |
