Challenge Team Abstract

Team Number: 024 School Name: Lovington High School Area of Science: Physics Project Title: Beem me up Scottie!!!

We want to attempt to make a teleporter, such as you would see in the classic Star Trek films. We feel it is possible although it will be a very difficult task to complete. Nevertheless we feel we are up to the task. In this project we will basically have to label every single molecule in an organism. We well demonstrate this using a program that will be written for the supercomputer to run. The reason we chose this project is that it will be fun and interesting, and we feel we learn some valuable lessons from it. It will also require a supercomputer to run such a program.
