    Area of Science: Computational Science

Project Title: Secrecy in the 21st Century

Abstract

Final Report

In the 21st Century, Computers are used for everything from simple word processing, to controlling your cars more advanced features, to running nuclear power plants. With all these applications of computers to everyday life, who's to say they can't be used to spy on you, even steal your personal information?

With our project, we hope to create an encryption system that can protect your personal information more quickly and efficiently by expanding greatly on current techniques. To accomplish this, we will use the supercomputing power provided to us by the Challenge to create a dynamic protection system.

Throughout the project we hope to become more experienced in the field of supercomputing programming, and to gain knowledge on cryptography in general.
