Challenge Team Abstract

Team Number: 057 School Name: Cuba High School Area of Science: Project Title: Construction builds more than roads

Our project is about the construction on Highway 44. How it will effect the traffic flow and population as well as the buisness. We mainly want to find out how it will effect the community of Cuba.

This project is important because it effects the community that we live in. We will gather information on how much business is expected to increase and how much the traffic flows through the town of Cuba. We want to see wheather the population will increase or decrease.

By doing this we will ask the business' and the community of Cuba for their help in supplying us with the information that we need. We will also be contacting a major contractor for information on Highway 44. We will use a traffic model to help us find the information that we need concerning the traffic flow and the business.
