Final Report

In the near future, computers will make more and more decisions for mankind. It wil be needed, so that computers can think and make logical desitions for the greater purpose. In order to be a footstone in Artificial Intelligence, we will be creating a computer program in C++. This computer program will be based on the game "GO". The prime directives of the fuzzylogic program are: self preservation, stratigic position and control the most territory. The computer program should follow these basic directives at all times. We hope to build a selfseficent computer program that will learn from its mistakes and hopfuly become a master of the game it is learning. The game will be played by a computer program that is superior and the learing program. The learning program will know nothing more than basic stratagy and the rules of the game. Further more, the program should attain a level of intelligence to were the program modifies its directives and script lines. A program fallowing these same logic peramiters can be used as a counter offensive computer missile program, a security program to counter hacking attackes on network computers. The posibilites are near endless. The real question is, if the program modifies it self, to what extent? Will it not want to play the game anymore?
