Challenge Team Interim Report
When satellites are in danger of space destruction. Technologist that work to protect satellites from these destructions would like to turn the satellites in a sage position before the dangerous objects. One of the danger is Coronal Mass Ejections (CME) which can damage satellites by its extreme hear from the sun. I chose this project because I want to know how long it would take technologists to move the satellites away from the CME to a safe position. I also want to know how long it would take for the CME to hit the satellites from the sun. I will figure out how long it would take for the CME to hit the satellites. I will get information from NASA and SHS Instructor Rick Espinoza. Research and text book reading has been done to gather information for this project. My expected results would be to work on my project and get much needed information, to calculate the time it would take CME to hit the satellites and to figure out how technologist can help put the satellites in a safe position.
