Project Title: Exploring the Subconscious Mind
The purpose of our project is to explore the possibilities of a relationship between the subconscious minds of an average teenager in our community and compare them to the results nationally. We will then link them to the problems and concerns in which they face on a daily basis. Through the use of a nationally accredited dream survey of fifty-six questions, which deals with symbols, objects, and their meanings in dreams, we will collect the same type of data at a local level. Our five hundred surveys will then be implemented into a "Dream Program," which will calculate and compare our community results with national results. Our goal is to check and calculate the similarities and differences of the two different databases of results. Through our "Dream Program" people will be able to compare themselves to others nationally and locally, and at the same time find meanings in their subconscious mind that link them to their everyday conflicts and concerns.
