Note: Since we are starting to use the Java programming language this year, most every student will be enrolled in beginning Java programming classes.

Only certain Teams and Students from Cuba, Freedom, Santa Fe, SW Secondary, and West Las Vegas follow this schedule.

Programming Block: Will cover an introduction to computer programming in Java, as well as an introduction to the Unix operating system. Meets in Room(s): 22, 23   Project Block: Topics here will include refining your abstract, working with a scientist, research techniques, and mathematical modeling. Meets in Room(s): 16, 17   Overview Block: Will cover the Challenge year, obtaining mentors, a session on teamwork, using the AiS Challenge web page, and other topics. Meets in Room(s): 1, 2, 3
