Project Title: Submarine Design
Project Definition
The purpose of our project is to determine how deep a
submarine can go and still support life. This is an important question for
submarine design.
Plan for Solving Problem Computationally
We will make use of five ocean
depth simulations. Each one consisting of a submarine at a different ocean
depth. Since we can determine the pressure inside of the sub there can and will
be many results. The results will be represented using C++ programming.
Progress to Date
Our group has spent countless hours researching for our
reports and our project. We have gotton our formulas that we will be using in
our program. We have started planing our project, but there is still room for
change.
Estimated Results
We estimate that our computational submarine will not
be able to travel deeper into the ocean than 6,000 feet. We hae come upon this
hypothesis by using our formulas that we have researched.
