AiS Challenge STI Team Abstract
Team Number: 3
School Name: Hawaii Desert Academy
Area of Science: AstroPhysics
Project Title: TBA
Our original plan was to determine the maximum velocity that could be
reached by slingshotting around the moon using its gravitational pull.
Our idea was pummeled by the revelation that a very important factor in
our assumptions such as G force could not possibly exist in our scenario.
Bummer! Now we will attempt to develop a similar problem statement that
uses the gravitational pull of a large mass. What exactly our parameters
and variables will be is yet to be seen. After some research, and
recollaboration we will submit an abstract that is feasible.
