Project Title: Fractal Applications

 

 

I propose to use fractals to describe real world problems, such as predicting the stock market, population increase, or the evolutionary process. Many things in our world are considered random, and not until fractal geometry was discovered these phenomena were unexplainable. By using the proper algorithm, fractals could easily simulate the most arbitrary scenarios.

My course of action would be to find a mentor, research and develop an algorithm to simulate a specific problem before submitting the interim report in December and the evaluation in February. I also plan to create a power point presentation, a project website, and a technical paper to present in April.
