AiS Challenge Team Abstract

Team Number: 067

School Name: Silver High school

Area of Science: Ecosystems

Project Title: Antelope

Problem Definition:
The purpose of the project is to see the population growth or decrease of Antelope due to the reintroduction of the Mexican Gray Wolf. At this rate, is the consumption and repopulation ratio safe? Many people are not aware that the Mexican Gray Wolf has been reintroduced to Grant County. The team wants to insure that the Antelope do not decrease do to the Mexican Gray Wolf.

Project Plans:
This will speculate the amount of time that it well takes the Antelope population to become completely depleted. Right now the team is studying java and statistics, which they plan to use in helping the team, write a program to figure the decrease of the Antelope. The plan is to determine the amount of Antelope by taking the population in a specific section of land, in Grant County, and find if it has decreased, and what the rate is. This will also take into consideration the amount of resources that are available to Antelope.

Plan Of Action:
The Java programming language well help the team determine if the reintroduction of the Mexican Gray Wolf was a good thing for the Antelope. More research well be required to determine the statistics of this program.
