Game Theory Applied to a Hostage Crisis

Team: 60

School: MANZANO HIGH

Area of Science: Game Theory

Proposal: Hostage situations are complex scenarios that involve many complicating factors and stressful decisions. We intend to model situations such as this with the mathematical concept of game theory. We can use this area of mathematics to aid us in modeling any number of potential scenarios, outcomes, and decisions that are involved in a hostage crisis. We will then write a C++ computer program that accurately models these game theoretical concepts.
