how to fence the critters

Team: 81

School: NUESTROS VALORES

Area of Science: physical/biololgy

Proposal: The problem being showed here is what farmers that growtheir crops near the forest areas have.As you can see the farmers bulid a wooden fence tall enough for deer to not jump over, but during the year it rainscausing the wood to swell up and eventually weaken little by little. Not only would that happen but also the deer population grows little by little every year tempting them to kick down the fence to either get some more to eat or to get more land so that they don't feel all crowed. Because of this problem the farmers are loosing more and more money on the crops that the deer are eating and fixing the fence every time it is broken down.
There is two very simple solutions to this problem. The first is to built a wall of bricks and concrete, the wall is much more tougher to knok down because unlike the wooden fence the concrete does'nt really weaken everytime it rains. The second choice is to have a hunting season near that area to lower the population until there is only about 10 deer left so that they may not become extincted in that area but are too low to cause any damage to the fence or the wall. The money that the farmers envest every year is shown in the equation below:
