All teams that have submitted a final report are invited to attend the Expo Friday, April 25th at the Santa Fe Community College beginning at 8:00 am and the Awards Ceremony from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm that night. A schedule and a checklist to help you prepare for the event are below.
Activities Include:
- STEM activities in the Los Alamos National Laboratory "Challenge Trailers"
- Tours of the Santa Fe Community College and the programs it offers
- Demonstrations of scientific computing projects — simulations and graphics
- Talking with scientists
- Meeting other students and teachers
- Scientific Poster presentations of Supercomputing Challenge projects (the Expo)

Registration Procedures
The deadline for registering to attend is April 2nd.
Each person who attends the Expo activities needs to pre-register so we can have an accurate count of those attending so that we can organize the program, the meeting space, and order the food.
Teachers are responsible for supervision of the students.
If a team needs to present over Zoom or Google Meet instead of face-to-face in Santa Fe, please let Consult know.
Expo
The Expo will take place in classrooms of the Santa Fe Community College with registration and the Awards Ceremony in the Jemez Rooms (see the detailed map).
On Friday, April 25th, each team will be assigned a half-hour time slot between 8:00 and 11:20 to present their project to a set of judges. In addition to the scientific display, a (laptop) computer can be used during the presentation. After the teams present their projects, they should get ready to go on tours of the Santa Fe Community College. After lunch the tours will continue and there will be talks about different STEM research at Los Alamos and Sandia National Laboratories.
Awards Ceremony
The Awards Ceremony will be held at 5:00 pm on Friday, April 25th in the Jemez Rooms at the Santa Fe Community College (see the detailed map).
In addition to the winning team and individual scholarship awards, all teams who submit a team project will receive a certificate and a memento of the 35th annual Supercomputing Challenge.
Finalists will receive special certificates and awards. Other awards will be given, including prizes and special recognition for winners in the Logo and Poster Competitions as well as door prizes for students and teachers.

Remember! Noon on April 2nd is the deadline for submitting the final team project reports through the Final Reports web page.
Project Advisor
Please invite your Project Mentor to attend the activities with your team. If your Project Mentor plans to attend, please be sure to let us know by including his/her name on the registration form.

What to Wear
You will be doing a lot of walking during the day, so wear comfortable shoes. Bring a jacket or sweater because weather can unexpectedly turn cold and rainy or snowy. Please dress nicely.
Lodging
Since this is a one-day event, no lodging will be provided in Santa Fe.
