Project Title:

An Attempt to Design an Aircraft that Will Not Send Out A Shock Wave When It Breakes The Speed of Sound

In my project this year I will simulate the waves produced by an object breaking the speed of sound. Using this simulation I will attempt to design an airplane that can brake the speed of sound without sending out a shock wave. I will use cellular automata to simulate the object breaking the speed of sound. I will then input different objects and aircraft designs to find a shape that will not send out a shock wave when it breaks the speed of sound.
