CO2 Emissions

Carbon Dioxide is a very harmful pollutant that is currently plaguing the world. There are means of storage for this greenhouse gas, but it is uncertain the exact amounts that are entering the atmosphere. It is important to know the amount of the emissions because we need to know if storing the carbon dioxide would make a big improvement in the reduction of carbon dioxide. Some of the most efficient pumping sites are in the Mediterranean Sea area. There is no way of capturing carbon dioxide for transport, but cities located by the shore would have easy access to pumping. Using a supercomputer to calculate the amount of carbon dioxide emissions from different sources would help calculate the reality of the effect pumping has on the amount of carbon dioxide. If I could figure out the amount of carbon dioxide being emitted by these cities, I could determine the impact that pumping makes in the greenhouse reduction.
