Project Title:

A Simulation of the Activity of a Neuron

We plan to explore the possibilities of simulating the activity of a neuron. A program which simulates such a complex process will require the use of a supercomputer and the creation of an efficient program. Our program will be written in C and will produce output in the form of graphical files showing the simulated activity. By simulating neurons we can learn more about the effects of various stimuli on a nervous system.
