Project Title:

The Gas Station or the Electrical Outlet?

Are the new electric cars (as they are now), more feasible than the gas-guzzlers? For today's money pinching consumer, it certainly seems important to know.

Our program will be written in C++, and show which car can make it across America cheaper, safer, and faster. By using values that will hopefully be supplied by experts, optimum values (for electric cars) for variables such as recharge time versus driing time, maintenance and cost of car will be taken into account.

It is not known at this time if we will take average values for most or all electric cars, or if we will take values for one specific model.

For gas running cars, gas costs, maintenance, and cost of car will be taken into account. Again, it is not known whether we will take thw average of all gas running cars or just the values of one model.

Time values will be arbitrarily assigned to some variables (i.e time for maintenance on the electric car and time to fill up at the gas-station).

Total time and expenses incurred will be the output of this program.

NOTE: The electric-gas car will not be included, as our information on that car is limited.
