HAL 10000

The purpose of our project is to monitor and control different aspects of a space staion. These variables are: Environmental, such as temperature control, lighting, air pressure, and humidity; sanitation, including water and waste water systems; and physical operations such as door control. The system will monitor these variables, and if they exeed pre-set limits, the system will take whatever steps neccesarry to correct the problem.

The system will be autonomous, but there will be an interface for a human controller to take over if neccesary. The interface will be a diagram of the space station divided into sectors. To check conditions in a certain sector, the operator will click with the mouse on that sector, which will bring up a diagram of that sectore in a seperate window. The operator can then change any variables needed.
