Our porject is to illuminate a room with the sun in order to cut down on electricity, and to use indirect and reflected light to aviod the sun's glare. To accomplish this task, we will use computer software to show architectshow to use passive solar energy to illuminate the internal working area of a building. The room has 30 computers which we are unable to use when the windows are open because of the sun's glare. We can't open the curtains becuase we get a glare on the computer's screens, the room becomes too bright and it is uncomfortable to work in. This software will enable us to modify the windows to use naterual sunlight to illuminate the room wihtout a harsh glare.

The factors we are dealing with are: the poition of the sun, the intensity of the sunlight, and the angle of the sunlight that penetrates the room.
