I am a retired Non Commissioned Officer, United States
Army, Army career lasted for twenty years.
I was stationed all over the world and United States.
Mainly in Europe for nine years. After retiring from the military,
attended New Mexico State University, majoring in Secondary Education,
with a double minor in Geology and Physical Geography. Graduated
in Decemeber of 1988. Took my first teaching job at Laughlin, NV,
where I taught for one year. Moved to Soccoro, New Mexico, where
I was the Baseball coach and taught three different classes for two years.
Quit moved to Farmington, New Mexico where I went to work for the city
of Farmington for three years. Applied for and was accepted for a
position at Newcomb High School, which is part of Central Consolidated
Schools. While at Newcomb I taught three different Business classes,
was the Assistant High School football coach, Head Junior High Boys Basketball
coach, and Head Junior High Track Coach. The summer of 1995 applied
for and was transferred to Kirtland Central High School.
I have been involved in the Challenge for the last two
years. Having a team that has completed the first competive project
from Kirtland Central.
I enjoy playing golf, fly fishing on the San Juan River,
and officiating High School football. I am a life long resident of
Farmington, New Mexico. I am Fifty years old and feel like I am Forty-five.
I now live in Farmington, and teach in Kirtland.
