Challenge Team Abstract
The ubiquitous presence of fast mutating flu strains has posed a significant threat to the world population for a substantial period of time. As evidenced by the Center for Disease Control's perpetual research into vaccinations, the nearly annual appearance of flu strains poses a significant threat to even moderate concentrations of people. Thus the intent of the project is to model the spread of flu through a fixed poulation in hopes of attaining a distinguishable pattern of infection, and by extension, formulate a valid counterattack. The simulation will be governed by a set of accepted equations that will effectively model interactions between individual "agents" of the program. In addition to the interactions that occur between agents of the population, there will be a set of rules governing the responses of individual immune systems.
