    Project Title: Voice Activated Television

Abstract
Interim
Final Report

Electronics: Voice Activated Television People complain everyday about losing their remotes. They don't want to spend hours looking for it. We want to design a system in which television won't need remote controls. Our project will be designing a voice activated flat television set. We need information from the Internet about Voice Recognition and how they insert it into the PC's so we can insert it into the television set. We know that software has already been created for PC's, so we want to create voice recognition for televisions and put it into our television sets. In this process, we will be searching the Internet for information about voice recognition. We will insert that information into a flat television set. This way we won't need to buy new remotes when we lose them or buy batteries when they run out, because batteries contain an acid which can cause damage to the environment and people. All that we'll need is our voice. It would also be good for people whom are disabled when they are alone.
