    Project Title: Three-Demensional Erosion Modeling

Abstract
Interim
Final Report

Our project is the construction of a three demnsional modelof a given landscapetransformed by water over a given period of time. The result that we expectis a three demensional animation of the eroding landscape. The needed inptut will be: a map of the landscape (randomly generated or specific), the monthly rain fall and and the properties of the rock and soil of the landscape. The program will calculate the pahts of the rivers and streams, the rates of erosion, the shape of the valleys, and the sedimant that is being washed down. Then it will creat a map of the at each interval in the form of a three-demnsional array. The arrays will then be be downloadedto a terminaland displayed as animation. We plan to start wit a simplistic version and expand it as much as we can within the time that we have.
