2.1 Problem Statement
A simplistic computer model that can run on a small computer is required to permit the evaluation of the number of people infected by the downwind transport of smallpox. The computer program shall consider variable input factors such as the population, death rate of the infected, death rate from other causes, birth rate, and other parameters that will affect the final outcome. The computer program shall be capable of calculating the percentage and exact number of the individuals that can become infected with the virus.
