Challenge Team Interim Report

    Team Number: 037

    School Name: Bloomfield High School

    Area of Science: Statistics

    Project Title: Nostradamus

Abstract
Interim
Final Report

Team 037 is researching the predictions of Nostradamus, and trying to correlate the accuracy of some of them. This project was begun last year, and we are trying to somplete a database that is searchable and shows statistical correlation on several points. The database will operate using a keyword style search in an html type environment.

We have had some problems this year because our team is scattered out, and we have not met regularly. However, we have some resources available to us this year that were not accessible in the past. These include the Bamboo software (which we are working to figure out), and a mentor from San Juan Community College.

We are still working on writing some code in HTML, and trying to integrate C++ code into the project as well. We are hoping to make more progress now that we are meeting regularly on Fridays at noon. We also hope to have more contact with our mentor in the coming weeks.
