Trupac Structures

Metals have varying strengths of structural integrity. All will sooner or later develop minute fractures, either in their infrastructure or the welds that hold them together. This is the premise under which the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant (WIPP) must function. We are going to develop a working maintenance schedule for their trupac containers. Under federal and state contract, these containers must go through extensive maintenance at least once a year. With nearly 100 containers traveling to the four corners of the country, and with the sporatic shutdown/startup of various facilities, the maintenace schedule will need to have an adjustable flexibility.
