Fire Frenzy

             Just how long will it take a forest fire to spread?  Interesting question...if a fire starts in Tucson AZ, how long would it take to spread, say to Yuma AZ?  This is our problem, one that we think is important because if known, residents could be notified.  We believe that it would take a couple of months.  Our plan of attack to solve this problem consists of research on such things as humidity and temperature in eastern Arizona, finding out information on whether elevation effects the spreading of fires, developing a computational model, developing a computer program (star logo), and last but not least, putting it altogether in our final report.
