Title: The Profitablity of Games of Chance
Games of chance are often famed for being, in the long run, extremely unprofitable. Indeed, it is because of this that casino's are able to make profit. However, certain thought experiments have been proposed which might allow the player, without cheating in any way, to use the probabilistic nature of the games to his or her advantage and ultimately win money.
Using the C++ computer language, several of these thought experiments will be translated and tested in order to predict long term results. For example, it could be predicited the potential profit of a player who is gambling over a coin flip. Eventually, these data will be compiled and reviewed; hopefully some conclusion or method of play will arise.
