Project Title: Aplastic Anemia
Aplastic Anemia is a disease that causes an unexplained failure of the bone marrow that reduces the reproduction of red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets. Without these three things our bodies are vulnerable to bleeding, fatigue, and infections. Fortunately this is a rare disease that infects two to six people out of a million that are affected by the environmental usage of the toxins benzene and pesticides.
Why it is important to my team is because this disease is sometimes life threatening. The results my team hopes to gain is how to prevent and reduce the number of people who are at risk of this often-fatal disease.
How my team plans to work on this is by researching and learning all about the Aplastic Anemia. We plan to learn about it and see what we can do about it.
The result that my team plans to get is more knowledge about the disease. And to get other people to know about it so they can notify that they, or someone else, has it.
