Abstract Anita Victorino and Tracey Charlie Santa Fe Indian School Santa Fe Indian School is having a problem with pooling water near our newly built football and softball fields. The school is having problem on what to do about the situation, whether to pump out the water, which would be very expensive, or to create a wetland ecosystem. The purpose and importance of this project is that we can help by saving the school money and increase student’s knowledge of wetland ecosystems. We think it would be excellent to educate students about the wetlands because most students live on the reservation and some of their families are farmers. We plan on learning how to use the star logo computer-programming module to design a wetlands ecosystem. We can show the schools administration on how it would benefit the student’s education and help solve the schools problem on what to do with the water.
