Abstract: With the intent of increasing the efficiency of traffic, our team will create an accurate model of city traffic. We will then alter the behavior of the street lights at intersections to find out what systems work better than others. We will gauge our effectiveness by calculating the time it took each car to reach its destination, and the distance it traveled. Finally we will compare the data from our "smart light" traffic system against a regular traffic system and determine the effectiveness of the smart light system.
