Abstract: Our team will be exploring the patterns of wildfire and phenomena within them. We will look into the wildfire cycle and explore phenomena such as how wildfires jump from place to place. We are investigating this problem to find solutions for better understanding of wildfires.
We will begin by using Starlogo for our model and continue with more in-depth exploration using MPI. We hope that we will be able to discover patterns that will help National Parks officials who monitor and work to control wildfires.
