Abstract: The current life expectancy from birth for a male living in Russia today is 59 years; the population growth rate is -.35%. The Russian government has been offering economic incentives for immigration, but the results are not apparent in the current population decline. I will make projections for the future of the Russian population, taking into account birth rates, death rates, and immigration/emigration rates. I will focus on possible shifts in ethnic populations as well.
