Project Title: If You're Down with the Green, Do You Know the Facts in Between?
Problem: How well are students, smokers and non-smokers, educated about the chemicals in marijuana on our Santa Fe Indian School (S.F.I.S) campus? It is estimated that majority of students smoke marijuana on campus but do they actually know all the health risks?
Purpose: Santa Fe Indian School has a very serious problem with substance abuse. We predict students on campus know little about marijuana. By providing students with the information of health risks caused by chemicals in marijuana, we hope it would alter their decisions.
Procedure: With surveys handed out to random students of all grades on the SFIS campus we will use Probability and Statistics to calculate how well students are educated on marijuana and after given the knowledge of marijuana would students continue to smoke?
