Proposal: Can a swamp cooler or mist air technique better cool a 20’ X 20’ X 10’ room using a 12” box fan. It is important because it can be applied to actual cooling of Navajo Prep dorm room, for better student health. An additional element of the experiment is to test using solar panels and measure the energy input for the two types of cooling. Energy input results could later be compared to Navajo Prep’s current systems of cooling, and their cooling demands.
