Forest Fires

Team: 87

School: RIO RANCHO HIGH

Area of Science: Computer Science

Proposal: Supercomputing Challenge Proposal

The problem of our project is fire in the forest. We are trying to make a forest fire go out as fast as physically possible. Also we are modeling how fast they grow, meaning we can figure out how fast we can put them out.

We hope to put out the fire as fast as possible. It is important because many animals and other things lose their homes to forest fires, it also cut down the amount of trees we have.
The constants of our project are going to be nighttime daytime.

We plan to work on it as we learn more and more about Starlogo. We also plan to learn as much as possible about forest fires making it more accurate. We plan to go to the conference in October to get help from professionals in the field of knowledge. That is are idea for the Supercomputing Challenge
