Challenge Team Abstract

Team Number: 076 School Name:Santa Fe High School Area of Science: Earth and Space Project Title: The Gravitational Influences on a Small Celestial Object in a Binary Star System

This project will analyze and model the motion of a low-mass object traveling within the gravitational fields of a binary star system. It will be assumed that the two stars will have equal mass and that they will be perfect spheres. The mass of the low-density object will be low enough not to effect the motion of the system.
