‎‎‎‎‎YouTube, COVID, The Secrets of Life

For my Supercomputing Challenge, I will be tackling trying to track the increase in the widespread of COVID-19 through use of social media data. COVID-19 was one of the biggest issues that have occured within the decade and has caused in a global lockdown and several people getting severley ill and or even killed. The purpose of this is to provide an alternative way to try and predict and track the growth of such global spreading diseases such as COVID using data that is publicly available. I plan to work on this by getting data on a multitude of YouTube channels from Socialblade and analyze how such events have changed their viewership, and other such stats with events like such, building first a prediction for their growth without COVID, and then comparing it to the actual data during the time.
