The real world problem or area I want to research, model, and analyze is the dynamics and engineering of a flying car. During the challenge, I will investigate different variables, designs, and outcomes of flying car prototypes. Focusing on flying cars matters to me because im interested in the dynamics that are in involved in the project, because I enjoy engineering, designing, and testing, but also because I hope that maybe I will be able to discover something that allows me to expand further on what I conclude after the challenge. During the challenge I plan to Research, Design, test, revise, analyze, and compare different models of flying cars. I want to use some type of CAD software (like Fusion 360) to design different models using data from previous or baseline models and then change different variables and parameters based on simulation results. I think that in my simulations I can change different variables like road speed, lift, drag, weight, energy consumption, weight, thrust, CG, size, wing size, wheel size, altitude, and temperature. Based on results from simulations I can display data in the form of graphs, tables, success percentages, and miniature 3D printed models.
