Every year countless square miles of land and nature are scorched by wildfires, displacing millions of people from their homes and destroying habitats of animals. To fight these flames thousands of fire departments employ millions of firefighters and utilize many different tools to fight fire. The main weapon against fire is water, tons of it, so what would be the amount of firetrucks and hydroplanes needed to extinguish the most square miles of land while using the least amount of water, manpower, vehicles and gas, in the least amount of time with the least amount of money spent. Efficiency. Could there possibly be a better way to fight these fires? I can write a program in python to be used on the supercomputer to simulate these measurable factors to improve upon the wildfire crisis.
