Using Sound Waves to Purify Water

Water purification is important to allow us to make water safe to drink. That is why for my project I will be using acoustic transducers to purify water. Using this type of water filtration has advantages to conventional water filtration techniques, such as the fact that it adds no harmful byproducts to water and that it doesn't clog. I want to test how efficient this method of water filtration is. I will use supercomputing to see how efficient the transducers are at purifying the water. Throughout the experiment I want to learn the effectiveness of acoustics in purifying water.
