George Buffon

"Genius is only a greater aptitude for patience"


Georges Louis Leclerc Comte de Buffon was born September 7, 1707 in Montbard, France. At the age of 20, he discovered the binomial theorum. From 1749-1788, George wrote 36 Volumes of Histoire Naturelle, which foreshadowed later theories of evolution. George Buffon was known mostly for his probability experiment known as Buffon's Needle. He died April 16, 1788 in Paris, France.
