New Mexico Supercomputing Challenge

Laptop use at the Expo

If you are planning to bring a laptop computer (or any other Portable Electronic Device) with you to present your project to the Finalist or Expo Judges, you will need to agree to the following:

  1. I will not bring this device into a LANL Security Area.
  2. I will disable any wireless networking capabilities on this device.
  3. This device will not be used to store any U. S. Government or LANL sensitive data.
  4. This device will not be connected to any LANL information system or network

Remember that all Portable Electronic Devices (PEDs) must not be taken on the tours and should be returned to your vehicles after your Expo presentation. PEDs include laptops, cell phones, flash drives, ipods, mp3 players, etc.

As some Expo presentation areas are not close to electrical outlets, make sure your laptop is charged up, in case you can't plug it in.
