Our team is interested in developing an app for taking statistics in volleyball. Currently it is very difficult to take stats because it is hard to watch the game and write down what is happening since volleyball is such a fast paced game. Our team interested in this because the Melrose High School volleyball is seated number one in the state and we were state champions last year. We can attribute some of our success to studying the statistics from games with our main opponents, so it is very important. We will be modeling the app that we plan to make on Net Logo to fix any glitches with the code before we convert the model to an app for a tablet device. This can improve the volleyball skills of not only our team but teams across the nation. Specific items to be reported include player numbers, playing time, digging, hitting, blocks, passes, errors, aces, kills and serving. As we said there are many things to keep up with.
