Our project will be about sea turtles and how pollution affects them. The species we have chosen is the Leatherback sea turtle and it will be our main focus. We will be making a NetLogo program that shows how the turtles live in the ocean. It will also show how pollution and their food source play a part in their survival. We will have two screens, one of which will be featuring the Pacific Ocean, showing the migration of the turtles, and where main pollution areas are located. The other screen will be featuring a specific section of the ocean, modeling how the turtles live, what they eat, and how the pollution affects them.
