Problem: The problem we have is that when there is a fire how much water is contaminated by the toxins that are released from the ash, foam, fire retardant, and any other chemical used by firefighters.
Expected results: We expect that the data will show that the water is contaminated by the harmful toxins. We also expect that the water will be harmful to some but not all living creatures.
Plan: Our Plan is to make many phone calls to the New Mexico Forestry, hopefully make a hands on investigation, and gather data from the internet and any other sources. We plan to use the data to find out if the toxins in the water after a forest fire are harmful to any living organisms.
