Proposal: During the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic, numerous aspects of our daily lives have fallen into immeasurable chaos. Across various states, many policies of varying degrees have been employed to regulate the day to day activities of citizens. This, of course, has had a negative impact on the American economy. How does political bias affect economic output during a global pandemic? The model will include data from a local software company, Event Rental Systems. The data will consist of annual sales from companies all over the country in the years 2019 and 2020. The model will work to calculate the average differences of annual sales depending on state, and therefore average political leanings.
