Ozone depletion is currently a worldwide problem that is significantly affecting the health of the humanity and ecosystem. Due to the increased level of the ultraviolet ray coming into the surface of the Earth, humans and vital organisms such as plants and animals are confronting numerous problems in terms of health. For example, non-melanoma skin cancer and cataract are the main health cause of humans, negative growth rate for plants, and lastly optical tumors for animals.

This topic has such importance due to much radiation affecting many animals, plants, and humans; all in which we count on in this world. Seeing that the effects are causing much damage towards the human health, in this case, it can affect more of the elderly, minors, and the people with lung deficiencies. Plants are getting too much sunlight in which they need, causing them to lower their growth spirt and oxidizing during respiration; this makes them unable to survive. Animals such as herbivore mainly depends on plants for energy; so, with plants being affected, it affects their life span and health factors.

Reduction of HCFCs and CFCs emissions is one of the solutions. Avoiding outdoor activities on sunny days is another solution as well. If not, we can protect ourselves with sunscreen that can reduce UVs penetrating our skins and wearing sunglasses to protect our eyes.
